My main occupation is as a Cotswold District Councillor for the Fairford Ward, having been elected in May 2007. I am on the Planning Committee at CDC and on the Overview & Scrutiny working groups for Climate Change and for Ambulance Response Times. I have also been a Fairford Town Councillor for 7 years and was Mayor of Fairford for 2 years. I am also a free-lance journalist and am better known for my weekly Fairford column in the Wilts & Glos Standard on the Community News Page. Finally, just over a year ago, I took on the administration for the Fairford & Lechlade Business Club.

A local business owner for the past two years providing growth marketing / PR consulting, website design, hosting, optimisation and internet marketing services. 27 years experience in IT software creating business solutions from leading edge software technologies working with a number of large software companies delivering value to the likes of BP, Shell, ExxonMobil and ConnocoPhilps. The latter 5 years exploiting Internet technology to carry business critical applications for alternate "green" energy initiatives. Having a lot of time on airplanes, the USA and Middle East it is a real pleasure to forgo airline meals and to be serving a great local community.
